Booking conditions
What you are agreeing to when you book, in the plainest language we can manage.

1. Who you are contracting with
Your contract is with NOMADX SAS, a tour operator registered in France under Atout France IM075000000. Client funds are protected by the APST financial guarantee until you travel.
2. Making a booking
A booking is confirmed when we have received your deposit and sent you a written confirmation. Until both have happened, no places are held.
3. Changes by you
Name corrections and date changes are free up to 60 days before departure, subject to availability. Inside 60 days we pass on supplier charges at cost, plus an administration fee.
4. Cancellation by you
Cancellations must reach us in writing. The following scale applies to the total journey price:
- More than 60 days before departure — deposit retained
- 59 to 30 days — 40% of the total
- 29 to 15 days — 70% of the total
- 14 days or fewer — 100% of the total
Where a supplier refunds us, we pass that refund on in full.
5. Changes or cancellation by us
Small-group departures run subject to a minimum number of travellers. If a departure does not reach it, we will tell you at least 30 days beforehand and offer an alternative date, an alternative journey, or a full refund.
6. What is included
Each journey page lists what its price covers. Anything not listed — international flights unless stated, personal spending, optional excursions — is not included.
7. Your responsibilities
- Travel documents valid for your whole journey, including any visas
- Telling us about medical conditions or access needs that affect your travel
- Holding travel insurance for the duration of the journey
8. Complaints
Tell your guide or our duty phone while you are travelling, so we have a chance to put things right. If that does not resolve it, write to us within 28 days of returning.
9. Law
These conditions are governed by French law, and the courts of France have jurisdiction.
